Oolong tea, dried watermelon, papaya, safflower petals

Tea Type: Oolong tea
Caffeine Level: Moderate
Steeping Instructions: Steep 1 heaping teaspoon in hot (not boiling) water for 5–7 minutes. Enjoy hot or pour over ice.

🍉 Oolong Melon Fizz Mocktail

A refreshing, alcohol-free summer drink that feels fancy with zero effort.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup hot water

  • 1 tablespoon Watermelon Oolong Tea

  • ½ teaspoon honey (optional)

  • Ice

  • 3 oz sparkling watermelon juice or plain sparkling water

  • Fresh mint and a lime wedge for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Steep tea in hot (not boiling) water for 5–7 minutes.

  2. Strain, stir in honey if using, and chill completely.

  3. Fill a glass with ice and pour in chilled tea.

  4. Top with sparkling juice or water.

  5. Garnish with mint and lime. Sip, sigh, repeat.

My mother taught me to forage the land, and the medicinal properties of herbs since I was a child. August of 2018, when the Elderberries were perfectly ripe for the picking, I finally gave in. I made an extra large batch of my Elderberry syrup and offered it for sale. Now here I am, years later, with a thriving small business.
